CROA Membership
Children's Rights Officers & Advocates (CROA) is an umbrella organisation representing the professional interests of children's rights officers, participation workers and advocates. Our association is a vital source of support and advice for practitioners working in the field of children's rights and advocacy in various settings. CROA now has over 200 member projects who are dedicated to children's rights, the participation of children and young people in decisions that will make a difference to their lives and advocating on behalf of those children and young people who need independent help in getting their voice heard.

CROA Membership: The benefits of Membership are: 1. Access to support, advice and information Members can contact the main CROA office and get access to a database of practitioners across England and Wales 2. Invite to CROA's Regional meetings There are currently meetings in the following regions:
These meetings provide an opportunity for members to network, share good practice and put forward campaigning ideas for CROA 3. CROA's Annual Conference The annual Conference is a two day event that members are invited to; the two days are made up of topical workshops and Key Speakers 4. Reduced rates on training resources and CROA events Members get discounts on CROA's resources as indicated on the order form 5. Access to a legal helpline Members can access this helpline by contacting the main CROA office in Derbyshire 6. On-going invitations to CROA training events and Seminars Members receive a weekly bulletin informing them of any training events or seminars that are running as well as updates about current legislation and topical issues |
